DMC’s Mouliné Satin is an embroidery floss with a very clear sheen and silky soft texture, giving each embroidered piece a lovely glossy finish. Embroidery floss is an exceptionally versatile embroidery thread, since the thickness of the thread can be modified to the desired weight. The six strands are easily separated. It is suggested to use one strand for really fine, detailed embroidery projects or for creating edges for colour areas, two or three strands for slightly coarse embroidery, and four, five or six strands for more coarse embroidery. 

Suitable for all sorts of embroidery and every embroidery fabric – ideal also for cross stitch and satin stitch. This embroidery floss is made from 100% rayon, is colourfast and washable up to 60ᵒC. 

DMC Mouliné Satin holds 8 metres of thread per strand and is available in an extensive range of colours.
